Al Furjan, Arabic for a ‘collection of homes’ or ‘small village’ , is a lively and popular residential community in the Jebel Ali district, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. One of the key features is that it borders Jebel Ali Village and is near Ibn Battuta Mall, the Gardens, and the site of the Expo 2020, which is one of its major draws. Homes in Al Furjan are typically built in Al Hejaz (inspired by traditional Arabic architecture), Dubai (local architectural style), or Quortaj (Islamic/Mediterranean architecture) styles. Developed by Nakheel, this gated community consists of villas and townhouses but also has a few residential apartment buildings. One of the biggest boons of living in Al Furjan is that it has its own metro station named Al Furjan metro station. This beautiful and peaceful community is in close proximity to Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Education is no issue here as there are schools here as well.
Al Furjan also has a mosque and there are many religious buildings in Jebal ali as well for non-Muslims. On the whole this is a perfect spot for families looking for a cohesive community
